Presenter Bio

Dr Aisha Terry

Dr. Aisha Terry is an emergency medicine attending physician at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. 

She is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Health Policy at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Milken Institute School of Public Health. She also serves as a Learning Community Leader, Clinical Public Health Mentor, Professional Development Mentor, and Clinical Skills and Reasoning Instructor in the School of Medicine. Dr. Terry is a current member of the ACEP Board of Directors. She has published numerous peer articles and book chapters and has presented on a variety of topics at the International to the Local level. She is the CEO of the Minority Women in Science Foundation, a non-profit organization that empowers the dreams of future leaders with interest in science careers. Dr. Terry is a proponent of high velocity therapy in the emergency department.
